Mechanical keyboards feature low profile keycaps for speed typing

The Vertex V1.2 linear switch is the new generation of the well-known Vertex V1 switches; Vertex made a few adjustments to the new V1.2, including changing the stem tip from a spherical tip to a flat tip, adding a light diffuser on the top housing, and changing the spring for a better typing experience.

Sound-wise, because the V1.2 switches come with a longer stem and a flat stem tip, they won't sound as deep and thocky as V1 switches. V1.2 is louder and higher pitched.
